Crystals and the effects they have intrigues not only the mystics but everyone who is aware that they can have an effect on both our spiritual and physical well being. Though, we still don’t know how true their devised meanings are, but they surely generate curiosity every time we come across an article explaining them.

Quartz – A clear transparent semiprecious stone, which also has some other coloured varieties. All around the world, there have been many traditional uses of quartz. It is known as the ‘universal crystal’ because of its many uses but it is believed to be the most powerful crystal for healing and to enhance spiritual growth. A stone of clarity, it dispels all negative energy and clarifies thought processes. It is a stone of harmony as it balances energies.
Labrodorite – Mystics consider it to be a stone of transformation and magic. In crystal healing, it is believed that labrodorite helps with eyes, sight, diagnosis, brain, digestion and metabolism. What is to be noted here is that, healing crystals only help in spiritual healing and are not healthcare prescriptions.
Prehnite – The protecting stone, it can protect an individual on all levels and has powerful calming energies. It is believed to ease all kinds of worries and restlessness. Physically this crystal is used for gout, anemia and kidney problems.
Onyx – Associated with the root chakra. It is helpful in assisting with challenges in life such as sorrow, grief and eliminates unwanted energies. It sharpens ones senses and encourages healthy egotism fortifying self confidence and responsibility.
Topaz – This stone is powerful like quartz is. It balances our energies and brings joy and warmth. It is believed to bring success and good fortune, also protection from evil eye. Overall it brings in lot of positivity and goodness.
Moonstone – Named for its moon-like sheen. It brings hope, inner vision, sensitivity and enhances feminine energies. Also, believed to be a stone of calm and relief from emotional stress. It is also used as a stand in for pearl when pearl is not available.
